There have been numerous studies proven that some game fishes are smarter than others.  So you need to divvy up your games if you want to catch them all.

The HARD type of lures is more attractive and may appeal to a certain type of fish, while the SOFT type has a more realistic swimming action and may appeal to a different group of fish.

The best deal is to get all of them. Do 3 casts per lure and at least 9 casts to test the spot quickly.  If nothing is biting, move to a different spot.  Once you find a great spot and you are getting bites, stick with the lure.

After a while, if fishes stop biting, it could be because they became suspicious of that particular lure.  It’s time to change to a different design and you’ll see tons of strikes again.  The myth of a “fished up” spot is exactly that, just change your lure and you’ll see.

Note: Both types of lures are made with quality material, the “Soft” type is not soft to the touch, but allows a greater degree of flexibility at the Kevlar joints, thus having a wider range of swimming movements underwater.  It is not necessarily “better” but may appeal more to a different type of game fish.

Interesting lure. It’s about the perfect size to make it easy to cast, but heavy that you need a stout rod. Lure has really life action. I was trying to catch smallmouth bass, but ended up catching some walleye instead. Shipping was timely and product arrived well packaged. Will be ordering another one if I end up losing this one.

These lures are great. I caught my first bass ever the first night I was using them. Even more impressive was that it happened in a heavily fished neighborhood pond. The lures are well made and do a great job at “swimming” through the water as you reel them in. Overall, I’m very happy with these and look forward to using them a lot more once the Texas heat gets back down under 100 degrees.

I have this lure, and it works well, I use it with my new pocket fisherman I keep in my rig for “on the spot fishing” and it works great. When you cast out, let it sink for 3-4 sec then start bringing it in. BAM! fish on…
